HOW ONLINE TRAINING WORKS
Most online schools simply send you a bunch of videos and wish you luck. There is an abundance of evidence to show that this type of learning, particularly for communal practices, just doesn’t work. Here at Yoga Farm Ithaca, we take the opposite approach, and we recognize that in order to learn and grow, first there must be a sense of belonging and connection.
Our trainers are Educators, and have decades of experience in the classroom. At YFI each program has been developed with learning styles, and curriculum flow in mind.
We have tested various teaching methods to ensure that online learning feels like in-person learning.
Our courses are live, interactive, engaging, and connecting. The development and growth of our graduates speaks for itself.

You’ll create a login and password for our official eLearning platform Mighty Network where you’ll find classes, materials, recorded lessons, and more. This updated platform has a number of resources offered and also serves as a social networking platform for community connection.

Each “witch” module is 6 weeks in length. Between each module you will have an integration break for working on the coursework and delving deeper into the curriculum on your own.

Our private Online Academy group is where most of the discussions happen. This is a space to ask questions and receive feedback from your instructors and to make connections with your classmates.

All classes are recorded and the replay will be in the classroom within 72 hours. You will have access to the course curriculum for each module for one full year.

Each module will have its own set of small requirements; the final sixth module will have a larger final project to be considered complete with the course.

Jeannie has a passion and purpose to hold space for others on transformational journeys. Her teaching is practical, relatable and authentic to her own continuous journey as a student and teacher.
She has created countless educational programs for various schools as well as co-creating the ‘Radiant Warrior Yoga Teacher Training’, ‘Kundalini; Change your Energy, Change your Life’, ‘Mindfulness for Educators Program’, and the ‘Room to Breathe’ Middle and High School Mindfulness Program. She is here to create opportunities for you to discover, tune into, and polish the compassionate teacher that resides inside your heart.
Jeannie has a masters degree in education specializing in contemplative pedagogy and transformative curriculum design.
She is a 500E-RYT Vinyasa and Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Mindfulness Meditation instructor, a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider and an Ayurvedic health practitioner.
Sabrina is a 500 RYT with Kundalini, Vinyasa Yoga and Mindfulness training.
Sabrina has studied with Yoga Farm Ithaca since 2020 through our Radiant Warrior, Kundalini Warrior, Spiritual Warrior, Kundalini Rebirthing and more trainings. She considers herself as a forever student and has currently been studying Human Design and ways to incorporate that wisdom within her practices.
As a Reiki Practitioner and Kundalini Reiki Master, her passion lies within ‘The Yoga of Awareness’, Kundalini Yoga and the 10 Bodies. She combines these practices of presence as avenues to heal deep layers of the body, mind and being. She leads from the belief that everything you need is within you.
Outside of her studies she enjoys most spending time with her partner, two teenage sons, golden retrievers and friends!
Sabrina Trapani
Debra Delorenzo is a Badass Witch who isn’t afraid to let her light shine. She is a lifelong learner, enjoying any opportunity to delve deeper into the Mystery. She has been dancing with the magic within her all her life and delights in savoring the beauty and wonder all around her.
Debra is currently a Mentor in The School of the Sacred Wild plant medicine program, which brings together her deep love of Nature and passion for healing with plant allies. Debra's love of dancing with others led her to become a certified Shake Your Soul YogaDance leader, weaving the magic of music and individual expression with somatic release. Her 500-hour certified Kundalini Yoga teacher training, and her recently completed training in Restorative Yoga and Reiki have allowed her to expand the ways that she shares her infectious joy with others.
Debra is leaning into the gifts of her crone years, finding new and inspired ways of using her experience as a Positive Psychology Life Coach and educator to ground her powerful ability to hold Sacred space and offer wise, intuitive guidance.

Valerie Friend is a professional Tarot reader, Reiki Master, and Working Witch.
For decades she has read cards, created rituals, and provided support for tender matters. Valerie is the popular host of Tea & Tarot with Valerie Friend, her weekly Facebook live, Sunday mornings at 11:00am EST. Additionally, she spent years in academia and community based human services honing her teaching skills. Yes she’s a little outrageous, but it’s always balanced with compassion.
Valerie also holds a B.A. from Wells College in History and Women’s Studies and a M.S. in Student Services Administration. With a certification in Adult Education, she is familiar with different learning styles as well as supporting adult learners.
deanna leonard
Deanna is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with training in Kundalini, Rebirthing, Hatha/Vinyasa, and Meditation. Initially drawn to yoga while living with multiple sclerosis, she discovered that the practice offered far more than physical healing — it opened a deep well of transformation. Her path came into focus when she wove her studies together with a personal practice rooted in animism and the wisdom of her ancestors from the UK.
A lifelong seeker, Deanna’s curiosity about how humans make meaning began at thirteen, when she found a philosophy textbook — and she’s been exploring ever since. Her studies have led her into philosophy, religion, geology, herbalism, ayurveda, and beyond, all converging in her desire to understand herself and to walk beside others as they navigate this beautiful, challenging world with joy.
Her journey is also illuminated by her identity as a queer woman, an expression of the sacred diversity she celebrates in all beings. This perspective deepens her devotion to creating spaces of belonging, curiosity, and reverence, where each person is invited to explore the fullness of who they are.
Drawing from all she has learned, Deanna has uncovered a whimsical, magical space for exploration. She believes that ritual is the key that unlocks the magic we all carry within.
Arianna Reel Cook
Arianna Reel Cook is an artist, CEO of Craft Sierra Madre, teacher, multi-passionate creative, Yogi and big dreamer, looking to share everything she’s learned with you!
Starting with a background in hospitality and training bartenders, she has been teaching for over 15 years in some form. Moving into the spiritual world, she is a 500 hour trained yoga instructor and a certified Inner Alignment Coach. Her background in art has rounded out her current offerings and give her the ability to teach in a grounded and centered way.
The symbol for Aquarius is the Water Bearer, symbolically and eternally giving spiritual nourishment to the world. The water from the vessel washes away the past, leaving room for a fresh, new start. The sign of Aquarius is forward-looking and growth-oriented. Concerned with equality and individual freedom, Aquarius seeks to dispense its knowledge, and its vision of equality and individuality, to all.

SCHOLARSHIPS
The nonprofit has approved specific community-based scholarships for communities who we believe under-represented in yoga and meditation in the west. You are welcome to read about this program here, and apply if a scholarship will enable your participation.
I can’t participate but I’d like to give a scholarship. How can I do that? We receive many times the amount of scholarship requests than we have funding to accept for each training. With your help, we can bridge this divide. We encourage you to sponsor partial or full scholarships to help those in need. All donations are fully tax deductible as we are a 501c3 nonprofit.
